Project Direction

Entrepreneurs breath business ideas and concepts. These evolve into projects for which finance is raised or owners’ funds injected and a project plan is kicked off. Project direction goes beyond the conventional project management: it is the management process through which all the components in a project are aligned to the corporate objectives ensuring that a project does not develop ‘outside’ the company but grows to be an integral part of it. Unfortunately many times project direction is overlooked and businesses end up facing uphill struggles in costly re-alignment at the end of a project or by failing to capitalise on the investment made throughout the project lifecycle.

Project direction has been one of our core consultancy services since inception. Our innate skill to frame project objectives and see them through the minefield of project execution enabled us to successfully deliver many projects, spread across the full spectrum of our vertical sector specialisations. Through our experience, we have developed our own in-house methodology through which we strive to accelerate value throughout the project lifecycle, hence delivering a dual layer of benefits for our clients: the successful delivery of their project and the value-added derived in that same process.

We adopt a structured framework, built on a set of clear project objectives, which are built into the project master plan and its subsidiary plans. Knowingly that companies need to pursue their day-to-day activities and also manage the micro-facets of their projects, we take on the leadership of projects through project direction by putting in place a project structure that allows value-driven decisions to be executed rapidly, whilst constantly monitoring and aligning the results with the project objectives, ensuring the client has systematic visibility and comfort of delivery through the Project Dashboard.

Our exit from a project is a veritable succession plan, wherein we package structure, processes, methods and talent to hand them over in an incremental manner ensuring that the project direction would now be converted into an organisational legacy deposited in the company’s talent pool.
